We recommend flying into Bologna G. Marconi Airport (BLQ) even though there are no direct flights from the USA.

Alternatively, you could fly direct to Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP) or Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE).

The ceremony is on Saturday at 4PM. You can either fly to Italy on Thursday night and have Friday to relax and recover or you can fly from the US on Friday night and get to Bologna around lunch time on Saturday.
